« This was an amazing stay and such an ideal location. Hikers hideout was no joke! It was ideally located for all of our hiking needs. We had a short 10 minute drive to Hawksbill for Sunrise and a day of hiking. Also located very close to Upper Creek Falls and Brown Mountain overlook on Blue Ridge Parkway. I would say that if you plan on hiking on the 210 side of the Gorge, this is such an ideal location. The house was so unique in the decorations and really making a hiker feel welcomed. Just a...

« I had such a wonderful time here, enjoying the peaceful river view and sunrise over the mountains each morning! The tiny house was great, very cozy and had everything I needed for an extended stay. I had a few friends stay with me some nights and we were comfortable, though it would be tight for more than 2 people for a longer stay. The farm stand down the road was a great find too, as was Todd Mercantile. I would happily stay here again! »
