Ma'alaea Kai # 213, eine Eigentumswohnung am Meer in einem ruhigen Resort, liegt in der malerischen, ruhigen Stadt Ma'alaea in ihrer einzigen Wohnstraße. Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett, während das Wohnzimmer mit einem Schlafsofa für bis zu 4 Personen ausgestattet ist. Die voll ausgestattete Küche wurde modernisiert und bereitet ein kulinarisches Meisterwerk für feines Essen und Essen auf der privaten Veranda vor, während Sie den spektakulären Meerblick genießen. Diese Wohnung ist komfortabel mit Deckenventilatoren und zentraler Klimaanlage, Kabel-TV sowie Highspeed-Internet und WIFI ausgestattet, die sich alle ergänzen (ebenso wie der zugewiesene Parkplatz).
Zwei Hektar tropischer Landschaftsgestaltung umfassen einen Pool am Meer, Grill- und Picknick- / Spielbereiche sowie viele Liegestühle. In der Bucht können Sie entspannen und viel erleben! Es macht so viel Spaß, sich mit anderen Gästen zu treffen und „Geschichten zu erzählen“ (hawaiianische Bezeichnung für das Teilen von Nachrichten und Abenteuern). Am Strand vor Ma'alaea Kai befindet sich die Flotte von Honu (grüne Meeresschildkröten), die sich am Strand sonnen oder in der Brandung wackeln. Buckelwale kehren jeden Winter zurück, um ihre Waden zu gebären - ihre Aktivität ist den ganzen Tag über sichtbar. Am Wochenende gibt es eine Reihe von Fackeln am Rand des Ufers, die eine romantische tropische Kulisse schaffen, ebenso wie das Mondlicht, das über das Wasser scheint, und einen Himmel, der nach Einbruch der Nacht voller Sterne ist. Seufzer.
Zwei Orte, die Ihre Aufmerksamkeit verdienen, sind zu Fuß erreichbar: westlich zum Hafen; östlich nach Sugar Beach. Der Hafen ist voll mit Booten, die Leute auf spannende und / oder romantische Ausflüge mitnehmen. Dort gibt es auch Geschäfte und Restaurants, die Pacific Whale Foundation, das Maui Aquarium und vieles mehr. Sugar Beach ist ein ruhiger Küstenabschnitt von 2,5 km. Hier gibt es keine Gebäude und keine Menschenmengen - nur weißen Sand, Korallenstücke, einige Meeresschildkröten und endlose schöne Aussichten.
Das Beste an diesem Gerät ist, dass es sich in einer so günstigen, zentralen Lage befindet. Innerhalb von 15 bis 40 Minuten können Sie auf einem Weltklasse-Golfplatz Golf spielen, in einem weißen Tischtuchrestaurant speisen, den East Lahaina Pali Trailhead (oder einen von vielen anderen) wandern lassen und an einigen der Welt an den Strand gehen beste Strände und so viel mehr! This location was 10 minute drive to work, main reason for staying there. The location was perfect, the condo was great, the parking spot was the best as it was located at the and I never had a vehicle park beside me (bonus) as the parking spots are tight.

Nice Stay/Outstanding View

We had a very nice stay at this property. The view was outstanding, we saw more whales than the whale tour we paid for! You also can see sea turtles swimming and crabs walking on rocks. We wished we had better weather, but it was an amazing experience for 1st Hawaiian trip!

Can’t beat the view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unit! The location is amazing. Beautiful sunrises each morning from our lanai, lounging by the pool, barbecuing in the evening. The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. The interior had everything we needed. It was a bit dated but functional. Christine the manager manager was awesome! She was super responsive and did everything she could to make our vacation as great as possible. We can’t wait to come back!

Five days of amazing views!!!

We loved every minute of it! Views were fantastic from our balcony !!! The unit was as described, very clean and kept us very cool on some hot days. We found it to be extremely well stocked. We’ve been in other units that haven’t had a thing in comparison the grounds are lovely and it is just a small walk to the beach front. The communication with the property manager was very good very friendly. I can’t recommend this unit more highly.

Central location ocean front property

Central location ocean front property. The location is great for those who want to travel to other places on the island. The actual neighborhood is very small in terms of what is available. Any snorkeling or boat trips are easy access as the harbor is right there. A few restaurants, an aquarium and a small shopping center are available. The side of the island is very dry and windy which can affect waves. The ocean front property gives a beautiful view but not immediate easy access to get into the ocean immediately in front. Great pool with ocean views and beautiful grounds. Condo is decent size for a small family or couple and it’s great to have the use of a full kitchen. The extras that were available i.e. beach chairs umbrellas and a cooler were super helpful and even extra towels.

Reviewer Comments: This is a great property, well maintained, great views, convenient elevator and walkways, ability to walk to restaurants and shops, a little distance from beach but great for walking exercise, also centrally located to reach all parts of the island. The condo was comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. The only issues were the TV, not clear instructions on how to connect and operate, we were without TV for 5 days, after having caretaker look and could not fix, and two calls, Christian from agency came and was very helpful even said we should be compensated. The other comment is possibility of having a coffee and filter starter package until ability to shop. Other than that, our stay was wonderful, the people were friendly and we would highly recommend this property, and Destination Maui Vacations as we have contacted them before and they have been great to work with, also a property we will definitely consider coming back too!

Great little condo

The reason you're thinking about booking this condo is surely the view from the lanai, and that alone makes this a great choice for where to stay on Maui. I was even lucky enough to spot a couple whales on my first day, just before they all packed up and left town. The condo is a bit dated, as others have noted, but that didn't affect my stay at all. It's wonderfully equipped in both the kitchen and beach supplies (towels, cooler with cooler blocks, chairs, etc). When the lanai door is open you can hear the waves, and there are sometimes sea turtles feeding at the rocks that line the property. It's not really a swimmable shore, but there is a beach just past a few other condos. Nice location, as close to central as you can get on Maui. One downside to note is the AC unit is quite far from the bedroom and is on a 6 hour timer. There were nights I woke up because I was too warm and had to reset the timer to get the AC back on. As expensive as Maui is, the condo was quite affordable, about the same as a very inexpensive hotels, and worlds better.

View from the condo was very nice and the condo had adequate utensils, plates, paper towels, etc. as well as some extras such as books, maps, and beach chairs. The downside is the condo needs to be upgraded-the microwave is old, the burners on the stove are charred, and the fixtures in the bathroom are old. Additionally, we had to call the property manager because neither the bathroom sink, nor the tub would drain properly when taking a shower. To their credit, it was repaired the same day but how could this not be noticed or taken care of after previous guests? We also noticed some insects in the kitchen and bathroom and we were careful to not let any doors stay open. We would consider staying in the complex again, but not this unit.

The host provided all the detailed instructions and even texted us when the place was ready for a check-in. Check-in was super easy. The place was very clean with a gorgeous ocean view (btw, we got lucky as it was a great south swell and we got to watch surfers surfing the waves all day long right from our lanai - it was pretty cool). We also saw turtles from lanai every day! The place has a perfect breeze through, so it was never too hot. And we could hear the waves even in the bedroom. The pool had really nice warm water, warmer than other pools we visited! Location is perfect, it was only 6 min walk from the Maui ocean center. The condo is very well equipped with everything you need. The only thing that was inconvenient for us was that there was no dish-drying rack because I don’t like using dish-washer. But there was a dish-washer.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in room 213 for 2 weeks recently. Things to know about this room: the cleaning company may be doing a good job disinfecting the room, but they should spend more time actually cleaning. We found a NyQuil cold tablet on the living room floor (did they vacuum?) And a pair of dirty socks in the bedroom hamper (did they even look?). The kitchen cabinets had grime all over them (which we cleaned/scrubbed) and the outside of the fridge was disgusting until we scrubbed that too. The hide a bed couch in the living room was the most uncomfortable couch I've ever sat on. We bought and left common items like scissors and drink cups with lids because the kitchen was lacking these basic items. The ceiling fan in the bedroom is wired incorrectly. The fan won't run unless the lights are on which is not a good idea when trying to sleep. There were two pots in the kitchen: great big and very small. Nothing in between. Overall, we were very disappointed. The good news is the location is very central to everything on the island and we spent most of our time away from the room (which is the point of being there!) so we were able to look past the shortcomings and enjoy our trip. The owners need to spend some money on the place and it could easily become a great place to stay! Also know that the bedroom window is directly in front of the elevator if you want to open it at night and the front door sticks. You can't close it without slamming it.

Beautiful view on a clean, lovely property

This condo is on the second floor of a four story building, with a fabulous water view and very easy access to the stairs and elevator. It's not in the heart of a touristy neighborhood, so you get peace and quiet in exchange for having to drive to restaurants and stores. It's reasonably well appointed, clean if a bit dated, and overall a very pleasant base camp for exploring Maui.

Rent for the ocean view alone!

We had a good experience in unit 213. Furnishings are old and need upgrading. Had initial problem opening sliding door to balcony, but neighbor helped open it. No on-site manager is a negative especially if you check in on a weekend (rental management closed on weekends). The grounds and pool are very well maintained. Good mix of renters who are friendly and helpful. There are two outside gas grills that are well used (and cleaned daily).
