« It was such a wonderful lovely experience. I got this place for a mini getaway with my parents because it was my father’s birthday. The Manager of the property was super duper accommodating and friendly from the beginning of my stay to the end. I will definitely be back for some more adventures and am happy to have had such a wonderful host! Just want to applaud and thank them for allowing us to stay and enjoy the beach house! »

« It was perfect for what we needed. Very close to excellent. Wish there was a very very good option. Not fancy, but short walk to beach, good location, and our own deck made for a lovely stay. Would go back. »

« The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The flowers and landscaping was pretty. I needed help with the wifi and had a quick response. The path and stairs to the beach was easy, though the rocks were tricky for me but doable. Everything was great. »

« We love coming to the Cypress Cottage. Super easy check in and easy to find. Quiet little hideaway but an easy walk to Nye beach or stores and restaurants. The host supplies us with everything we need. Totally enjoy staying here every time. »

« One problem recognized on arrival dealt with by manager promptly and effectively. Otherwise, only demerits are that upstairs bedrooms did not have night tables where a lamp could be placed or chairs on which you could put your suitcase. Finally, the toaster oven needs to be replaced. All easily fixed. »

« The Sanderling Sea Cottages were perfectly situated right on the beach, ideally located between Yachats and Waldport. When we arrived, the cottage was spotless and beautifully maintained. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and the master bedroom offered a stunning, unobstructed view of the ocean.We loved cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, which also looked out over the water. « Cute well furnished cottage. Only issue was the extremely pokey weed things on the walk to the beach that left splinters in our feet and dogs paws, but there was someone trying to remove the dried bushes. »

« Great views and great space! Plenty of room! This place has the best beach! Our family had a place next door for many years, so it felt like home walking the same beach. We found ourselves staying in for meals more than we typically do because we liked being able to stay inside with the views. It was really stormy when we were there. « Wonderful home, great location in a sweet quiet neighborhood with beautiful yard landscape. Enjoyed having coffee on the porch and watching the hummingbird gorge herself on the bright flowers. Mark was an outstanding host. Close to beach, town and excellent hiking trails. So relaxing and fun. »

« We would definitely stay here again! The property was clean and nicely updated. Even though it is in a 4 unit building we never heard our neighbors unless we were all on the outside patio at the same time. The views and access to the beach were incredible! If it is not foggy, the sunset is spectacular and we watched gray whales right off the beach. The location is just minutes from Yachats or Waldport, which both have amenities like restaurants and grocery stores. It was not a chore to run out...
