« Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed. »

« The hotels.com site states there is a reataurant at the location, there is but only open until 1500hrs, so that was a big issue as delivery was the next choice, pizza, indian etc not a great option and a minimium of £30 to get a delivery, a pain on your own. I then had an issue closing the room window as that neess maintenance, the tv controls were next, there were none and the great staff had to find a spare set. The staff were great and the pub nice, accomodation was tired and not in walking...

« Une belle étape pour visiter Oxford et les alentours. Ce petit hôtel traditionnel est à dimension familiale. Personnel très agréable. A l'écoute et très disponible. Repas et petit-déjeuner excellent et copieux. La chambre 1 était parfaite et propre. Une salle de bain spacieuse et un fer et une table à repasser! Très pratique. Calme malgré la proximité de la route. Et une petite court aménagée à l'arrière très mignonne ! Bref, que du bonheur d'avoir découvert et séjourné dans ce charmant hôtel. »

« L Hotel est facile a trouver le long d un voie principale qui mene vers Oxford,mais bruyant puisque la circulation est continuelle. La chambre 6 est absolument a eviter( chambre triple) Elle se situe au dessus des cuisines,poubelles et du systeme de ventilation,fenetres entre ouvertes ou fermées,il y a un bruits assourdissant de jour comme de nuit.De plus elle est orienté coté circulation. Nous avons demandé a changer pour les 2 dernieres nuits mais impossible. Point positif le personnel...

« Plenty of parking, friendly staff, Very clean. Limited menu but excellent quality. Let down by peeling paintwork on exterior giving a neglected appearance. Would benefit from a fridge in the bedroom »

« Nous avons chercher un hôtel à un prix raisonnable à proximité d'Oxford. Pour 4 personnes, c'est le seul qui proposait un tarif intéressant avec petit déjeuner. Nous avions une voiture et cela facilite les choses ... La proximité du chemin de fer ne nous a pas dérangé car les trains ne passaient pas la nuit. L'accueil est familial. Excellent rapport qualité- prix »

« Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. »
