My stay at George Inn was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. As a frequent traveller, I rely on basic amenities to function smoothly, but George Inn failed on all fronts. From the start, I was met with chaos during breakfast, with no food available and staff unprepared. Despite this warning sign, I proceeded with my stay, which proved to be a mistake.
The room was outdated, with a small TV and tangled curtains that were nearly impossible to close. The shower was unusableâonly cold water ran, and when it finally started to warm, it cut off entirely. After reporting this, a staff member admitted there was likely air in the pipes but did nothing to resolve the issue.
Adding to the frustration, there was no Wi-Fi, and I had to rely on my mobile data for the entire stay. There was no breakfast in the morning as promised, leaving me to start my workday without a proper meal or shower.
