« We have stayed at Star Cottage 3 times now. It’s always well equipped and beds are really comfortable. We always arrive to a welcome pack which is appreciated after a long journey. The reason we stay there when we go to the Cotswolds is that it is in a good location and easy to get to different places we want to visit eg. Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, Broadway, Burford. Farmer’s Dog is a must, if you can manage to book! We have discovered the Red Lion in Long Compton. Lovely food,...

« The property was warm and welcoming — truly a home away from home. The location was perfect, with everything within easy walking distance. We received a lovely personal welcome, including a thoughtful card and a generous welcome pack with a nice bottle of wine, chocolates, tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits. « Wonderful house and location. We had a mix of 9 adults and 8 children ranging from 1 to 10 years. The house worked so well for us with the open plan kitchen, orangery and snug. We had great fun playing in the lake, hot tub and tennis court. We had a family meal cooked for us in the event barn on one evening. This was so special and so chilled as we only had to wonder across the path, definitely recommend doing this. Thank you Susan & Phil for looking after us so well. We hope to come back for...

« The accommodation was perfectly clean with plenty of amenities. It was great to have things like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, soaps, cling film, foil, as it saves buying or bringing them. The outlook was fabulous, looking across farmland and beyond. The hot tub was great and very clean. Having a log burner and a supply of logs made the evenings very cosy, especially after getting out of the hot tub in October!
