🚗 Park next to the Airstream on the far end, furthest from the street. Maximum 2 vehicles due to fire lane safety rules. Do not block the driveway entrance or the front area; the neighbor has an easement and needs that space clear.

Located in the heart of Welches, this forested area gives you Mt. Hood’s offerings to explore—whether you’re heading to Timberline for skiing, Salmon River for hiking, or the local market for a bottle of wine. You’re a short drive from restaurants, shops, and outdoor outfitters. Plan a day at Skibowl, Government Camp, Timberline or Trillium Lake.



Enjoy the charm of small-town Oregon with the adventure of Mt. Hood in your backyard.



Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — This mountain retreat is nestled in the Mt. Hood area, surrounded by nature.



🚗 Driving — A car is recommended for getting around. The area is well connected via US-26. Free parking at the property.



🏔️ Recreation — Explore Mt. Hood ski resorts, hiking trails, and public Sandy River recreation sites. Welches has the closest groceries and dining, with the larger town of Sandy to the west for a full grocery run and supplies.



✈️ Airport — Plan your PDX drive via US-26 around current traffic and weather.



Other Things to Note:

• Yard is not fenced — please supervise pets or children

• Outdoor fires are currently prohibited. Other accommodations and a driveway easement share the wider property.

• This listing includes the ADU, detached suite, and Airstream lounge; ask about booking the adjacent log cabin for groups up to 14

• Maximum 6 guests and no parties or events

• This property is special to our family—please treat it like your own

• The layout here is unique --- the main ADU houses the living room, dining room, a full bathroom and upstairs is the private King bedroom. The "detached" 2nd bedroom has its own separate entrance near the ADU - inside is a Queen bed and a private bathroom with full size walk-in shower & laundry machines. The Airstream is parked in front of these areas, on the property, along with the hot tub area. The Airstream can sleep 2 comfortably with a basic kitchenette and lockable door.

🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available by message anytime and respond as quickly as we can. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
