« We had a girls night here. Everything was excellent. It was a beautiful facility. It has lots of charming character. You feel like you have simply left home and went to stay at your grandmother's house, which is a very good thing In my book I felt right at home. When we arrived there were snacks and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies water The owner was very accommodating and pleasant. Everything was great. Food and accommodations highly recommend. Definitely plan to go back »

« Our son is at Frostburg State. The Allegheny Trail house will be our place to stay whenever we plan to visit our son. This place is unique and lovely to stay at. Friendly and attentive staff. »

« A wonderful visit where every detail by management and staff was considered. We loved the delicious breakfast and the “gemütlich” common room. We look forward to returning. »

« The property is beautiful.I can only imagine how nice it will be after the renovations are complete. Lovely porch to sit on and watch the rain. Lovely private bath with beautiful clawfoot tub. I met my cousin here. It was half way between Pittsburgh and DC. We picked a bad few days, in that everything is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. That gave us a lot of quiet time to relax »

« Dude. You have all these people coming here and you can’t afford a mattress that »

« Hébergement très agréable, et personnel très accueillant. »

« The place is absolutely beautiful. The setting is perfect. The staff was kind and helpful. Here are a few little things that would have made it a perfect experience. The breakfast on both days was original and interesting. However, it was supposed to be hot not like warm. Outside of our room by the water station was a tray of dirty cups that was there untouched for three days. It may seem petty but our bathroom had only a single roll of TP that was almost used up. The mentioned complementary...

« We absolutely loved our stay! The property was so cute, cozy, and incredibly clean. It’s within walking distance of a beautiful winery, and you even get a 10% discount just for staying at the bed and breakfast! Such a nice little perk! And Miss Olga makes the BEST omelets! Everything about our stay was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again! »

« very nice bed and breakfast. Historic building in town in which you can walk to enjoy the town and all it's offerings. Gettysburg has so much history was nice to stay in town and enjoy it. Enjoyed our room and fellow guests. Friendly staff and excellent service. Call about Parking before you check in, in town so there is a daily fee. »

« I am writing this review based on Room 3. We were very disappointed with the room for many reasons, so much so, we checked out after one night with no expectation of a credit for the unused night. The room and bath are very dated, the bathroom shower curtain is held up with PVC, the toiletries were minimal, the bed creaked with the slightest movement keeping both myself and spouse awake most of the night, the furniture is mismatched and dated, the freezer was frosted over, the coffee was an open...

« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way. We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited. Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold. If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available. Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. After that you are out of luck. There...
