Newly rebuilt in 2023, Gibbon Meadows Lodge gives families and groups a comfortable home base for experiencing Yellowstone together. Spend your days exploring the park, then come home to shared meals, games and movies, conversations about the day, and plenty of room to relax. There’s space to be together and room for a little privacy, helping a group vacation feel more natural and less chaotic.

Each of the six bedrooms takes its inspiration from a different area of Yellowstone National Park, giving everyone a comfortable place to recharge after a day of exploring. Five California King bedrooms offer spacious comfort and privacy, while the bunk room offers two Twin XL bunk beds and sleeps four. With 6.5 bathrooms, busy mornings are easier for everyone.

🏠 Gibbon Meadows Loft is a separate 2-bedroom, 2-bath vacation rental located above the left garage. It has its own private entrance and may be occupied by other guests during your stay.

🏡 Need a different amount of space? Smaller groups can book Gibbon Meadows Loft separately. For larger groups, or those who would appreciate a little extra privacy, you can book Gibbon Meadows Lodge + Gibbon Meadows Loft together as Gibbon Meadows Getaway, giving everyone plenty of room to gather, plus a separate space for up to four members of your group.

🦬 Yellowstone's West Gate has seasonal vehicle access. It generally closes in mid-March for spring plowing and reopens on the third Friday in April. The gate closes again at the end of October and reopens in mid-December for the winter oversnow season. Please check the National Park Service for current opening dates, conditions + access information.

Guests will have private access to the whole home except for locked areas. Although guests do not have access to these areas, they represent our commitment to your safety and ensuring that our cleaners have access to the necessary supplies to maintain a high-quality experience for our guests.

🔒 Gibbon Meadows Lodge has locked closets in the Main Floor Bedroom, the Laundry Room on the main floor, and in the Basement where the water heaters are located. There is also a locked door in the garage on the wall opposite the guest’s entry into the laundry room, between the maintenance garage and the garage with guest access.

🚘Guests for Gibbon Meadows Lodge and Gibbon Meadows Loft share the driveway. Gibbon Meadows Lodge guests park on the right, and Gibbon Meadows Loft guests park on the left. The driveway is approximately 70 feet deep, providing plenty of parking space. There is also street parking available in front of the home, except during snow season.

You'll be close to endless hiking, fishing, biking trails, and Yellowstone National Park in the warmer months. Enjoy ice fishing, cross-country skiing, easy access to snowmobile trails, and snowmobile and snowcoach tours in Yellowstone National Park in winter.

We will also provide a custom digital guidebook filled with local suggestions and tips for your Yellowstone vacation.
