„Perfect location for our half way stop on NC 500 so glad we had sunshine as the roads to the cottage would be challenging in bad weather. We did try to drive down to the beach for sunset but missed the turning and ended up stuck behind a herd of cows. It was good to light a fire have a drink and warm up a pizza. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but we forgave it because everything else was so good ( and we do usually sleep on king size vspring which is difficult to match away from home) “

„Absolutely perfect location, very scenic and quiet. The cabin was cozy, well equipped and the ideal base for exploration of the area. „Moriston Cottage is a delightful house right in the middle of Lochcarron, a very lovely small village on the water. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the house is well furnished and provisioned with all required for an enjoyable stay. „This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy.
