« I was looking for a nice place to stay near my daughter in the Hawthorne neighborhood, and Evermore Guesthouse turned out to be the perfect spot. The location made it easy to come and go, my room was peaceful and quiet, and I especially appreciated the 24-hour kitchen stocked with bagels, pastries, cereals, granola bars, hard-boiled eggs, tea, coffee, juice and more. I’ll definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. »

« We drove from California/Santa Barbara. Rented this on a whim. When we got there, we found it to be Super cute. We rented the black-and-white room. There were other rooms rented, but they had their own private bathrooms. I didn’t realize we weren’t gonna have our own when I rented it. « Very easy access to the Magic Barn. Was surprised to find that a “hot tub” meant a bathtub with running hot water. Lock on the sliding door stopped working when trying to lock from the outside. Cobwebs hanging off ceiling and plants everywhere!But otherwise cozy, close to grocery and thrift stores. On a VERY busy street but when I closed my eyes the noise sounded more like wind than traffic. »

« What lovely hosts and a cozy space. I am late getting to review this space, but the hosts are so great, they deserve it. Good communication via the app. Cozy bed, great TV setup, a hot tub with clear use instructions. The hosts were gracious about providing privacy for hot tub use, and made everything so easy! « I bought my daughter with me. This is our second time.We were disappointed that the futon in the living room was gon and replaced by a small couch. My daughter and I don't sleep together. It was a bit uncomfortable sleeping in the bed together. The backyard was full of dog poop. We had to clean it up before we could sit out on the lawn. We love the place. Except for the two things we still plan on staying again. We'll just bring a mattress for my daughter. »

« We were in Astoria for a family wedding and this property was such an amazing experience! The location, decor, stunning views and comfort were all great. On Friday evening a group of family members had dinner across the street and afterwards we were able to relax and visit together at the rental. It worked out wonderfully. Karen was very good at responding to any questions we had. You won’t regret your decision to rent here. My family thinks I’m a rock star for finding it! Lol »

« This place is better than I saw in the photos and the photos are really good. Quiet end of the lake with ducks, geese, herons, all showing up on deck everyday! All the lake equipment to use at my disposal and floaty to take my food and drinks in a cooler that floats behind kayak.. Jen was a very onsite hostess. I had everything I needed for an amazing week.. looking forward to a fall or next summer visit again! »
