« Very easy to access, host was very welcoming and responsive. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and had all we might need for the kitchen, including sharp knives! It was lovely and warm, very nicely decorated and cosy.The shower was good and powerful, plenty of nice quality towels too. Great location for access to walks in the National Park (we did the Trespass Walk over Kinder Scout).Very good value, lovely cottage, would definitely recommend. »

« We enjoyed our stay here even though the room was very quirky with a very sloping floor. It was a good size though and well equipped. The four post bed looked good but wasn't that comfortable and quite small especially as my husband is 6ft 4. Best to stick to a different room. Staff were all friendly and helpful and parking outside was just £6 a day. The hotel is well situated within easy reach of bars, restaurants and shops etc »

« Loved this place. The setting is beautiful as was our room. A real mixture of old and new that worked perfectly. The staff were really friendly and attentive and we truly felt welcome. We opted for the pie for dinner and I can honestly say, it was the best pie I have ever eaten. The pastry was amazing and it was filled to the max with the ham and leek. My only criticism is that I didn’t really rate the mattress, the bed was too hard for me. Additionally, a blind on the Velux window would be...
