Some concerns: no ice maker, not even ice trays; airfresheners caused our friend to have an asthma attack; could have used bedroom lamps with port for phone charger; needed code for garage door; no instructions for TV; nice pots and pans and dinnerware, but could not locate cutting board, measuring spoons or cups, or cookie sheet. « We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...
