« The pub itself is very old and in need of complete redecoration. The stairs, carpets, walls, paintwork leading up to the room was in a very poor state. Carpets need a good clean and decorating needs to be done. However, although the room was very basic and worn, the bed was comfortable, the bed linen clean and well laundered. « Lovely country pub, perfect for a stop over or to stay a few nights in the countryside. Staff were friendly and thoughtful, the food was excellent, and the restaurant/beer garden out the back was lovely in the warm summer eve. »
