Schöne Umgebung und Anlage; Hütte Nr. 1 aber veraltet, kalter Schlafraum, wenig gemütlich
Der Boathaven Holiday Park ist ein Ferienanlage, die außerhalb der eigentlichen Stadt liegt (Auto ist ein muss) und aus Ferienhütten und Wohnwagen besteht. Die Anlage selbst liegt wunderschön an einem See (tolle Aussicht) mit direktem Zugang zu selbigem. Im Sommer ist das Schwimmen darin sicherlich toll und auch die vorhandenen Grillmöglichkeiten und die sonstigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten (Trampolin, Pool usw.) stellen gerade für Familien mit (kleinen) Kindern eine tolle Örtlichkeit dar. Die Hütte selbst (wir hatten Nr. 1; stammt wohl aus den 80er Jahren) empfanden wir aber doch als ungemütlich / nicht zum wohlfühlen: sehr kleines Bad / extrem kleines Waschbecken (mit zwei getrennten Wasserhähnen kalt/heiß - also entweder verbrennt man sich die Finger oder erfriert diese) / aufgeschlissene Stühle / dunkel holzgetäfelter Wohnraum / Küchenzeile, die ihre besten Tage schon gesehen hatte / Schlafraum nicht beheizbar. Kurzum: Die Hütte bräuchte mal eine Generalsanierung / Aktualisierung auf einen zeitgemäßen Stand.

Although we only stayed one night everything about this facility was great, the cabins were great the amenities and facilities were suitable for all ages and i want to come back for a longer stay with the family

We stayed in a poolside cabin. It was away from caravans and tents. We had a lovely view of the lake. Would definitely stay again but would have to be in the same accommodation. The park is a fair way from the main shopping areas

One of the nicest caravan parks we've stayed in. Cabin was clean, furniture was updated and comfortable. Facilities were great!

Overall was a very lovely place to stay. A few issues with the spa in the room and a little bit of mold around a couple of windows, but staff were very friendly and the park overall is a beautiful place to stay.

I booked on line with wotif. Accidentally booked the wrong dates. Rang within 5 minutes of booking but would not change the date or return our money. $770 now down the drain. Money as pensioners we saved to see my nephew get married. Disgusted they would not bend on an honest mistake. Would never use them again

I took my 2 young grandkids but they had very little time to do anything as we couldn't check in before 2pm which meant they missed out on the school holiday activities and had to be out at 10am.The park settings were beautiful but we were dissapointed in the things we couldn't use. In the games rooms half of the games didnt work. It was too cold to swim bit we couldn't use the spa coz it had to be booked in advance which we weren't told about earlier and the jumping pillow gate was locked coz it had rained earlier in the day.

Hi Jennie,Many thanks for the feedback.I am a new manager here at the park and I really appreciate your comments. This information will help us to develop a much better kids program going forward. We will introduce a morning and afternoon program to help those who arrive after 2pm.To ensure all children are safe, we have to lok the jumping pillow as we had a heavy rain fall which flooded the surrounds and we have a duty of care.I looked into the games room concern, we did have 1 game out and that was fixed by the next day. All other games were working.Going forward, we will inform all guests of the spa and that it needs to be booked in advance.I am very sorry your stay was not to your liking but we are going to put some changes in place.Many thanksPark Manager.

This was truly a wonderful place to stay. Starting with a lovely welcome pack, we enjoyed the view, the facilities and amenities, cleanliness, and spaciousness of our cabin and its balcony. The only downside was not being able to access wi-fi from the cabin nor its surrounds. In all other ways we were so impressed with this Park, and look forward to returning! Highly recommended!

room with a view of Lake Hume
The room was overlooking the Lake Hume, it was a beautiful location and the accommodation was very clean. It was quiet and had electric blankets on the beds for those cold nights. the check in and check out was easy.

Went to use ironing board in laundry and it was broken, a lot of the cupboards had laminate off them and there was a live mouse running around. I know the price was low but it doesn’t mean the standards have to be.

My family and I stayed here for one night during a driving trip to Sydney. The rooms were very accommodating. They had late check in as we were arriving around 9:30pm. Very easy to get our key from the locker. We had a stroll around the park in the early morning and found the facilities clean, well maintained and we wish we could have spent more time there. Very happy with our stay. Will stay there again
