« Comfortable and convenient to the restaurants and town centre. It is only a 10 minute walk from the catherdral and river. The parking behind the hotel is a necessity. However some of the rooms are above the street so can be traffic noise. »

« We were welcomed by lovely staff giving an immediate good impression. Our room was small and a bit dark, but had everything we needed. Our dinner was amazing, beautifully presented and generous. Thanks to the weather we were able to sit in a beautiful garden looking onto the village green. Breakfast was brilliant. All the food is locally sourced and delicious. As to the cost, we were delighted at the value for money. Lovely pub with loads of character and lovely staff. »
