Les points forts : Propreté, arrivée, communication, emplacement et exactitude de l’annonce
Great location with a lovely street full of cafes and eateries around the corner. Plenty of room which was welcomed as we had 5 adults and 2 children. Definitely recommend and very easy walking access to the city centre. Only issue is parking as there is only one car park pass and we had 2 cars.

Already planning on booking it next year
Absolutely amazing property for a large group of people. Everything from the bedding to the plates to the decor was great, the location was amazing as well just close enough to be a cheap taxi away from centre but far enough to be quiet. Would absolutely stay here again. The support we got when we locked our keys inside on a Sunday was also amazing, instant support and help provided.

Superb property in central location
We really enjoyed our stay in this exceptional property which was handily located within walking distance of the railway station and the city centre. The property was clean and comfortable with lots of interesting features and everything we needed for a family including a pre-school child. The interesting multi-level layout and stairs kept us fit! A great base for a city break.

Great accommodation close to main centre of York
Great location for train station and getting into the main centre of York- easily walkable. Also liked the local surrounding area of Bishopthrope Road for meals and pub/bars. We ate at the Thai and Indian there which were great and the popular Angel on the Green was a lovely find at the top of the road!
Clementhorpe Maltings was well kept, comfortable - beds gave a great night's sleep! The stairs became a bit of a pain over 3 floors, so be mindful if any mobility issues, but lovely house.
Stays York Andrew was most helpful in accommodating our idea regarding storing bags until our train back. Booking easy and information, quick responses came from Stays York.

A delightful stay, close to Clifford's Tower
The house is beautiful -- all the beds were comfy and everything was in spit-spot condition. We were worried that the dining room/loft might be cramped for our party of 8, but it was just fine -- we enjoyed all our meals and many hours of playing board games there in the evenings as well. Be aware the many stairs are (as advertised) narrow and fairly steep, so you won't want to be running up and down them all day long. Also, it took us a while to find the hook to open up the skylights in the top floor bedrooms, which made the first night rather hot and stuff but once we did locate it, it cooled the whole house considerably. (A note about this in the otherwise comprehensive guest handbook would be helpful!)
The neighborhood is quiet and charming; our party (which included three children) never felt unsafe even when walking home after dark. We'd also like to commend the local high street shops - - the butcher, green grocer and baker were the best we encountered during our four weeks in England.
The only negative comment we have is that the washing machine had obviously been used by a previous but then left closed and not properly cleaned out/aired because there was a mold/mildew growing inside the door seal.

Fab Stay
We booked this property as a group of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We loved the layout of the house, modern feel and how comfortable the beds were!
If we had to give some constructive feedback, I’d say:
Location: although only 20 minutes from York centre, the location maps were somewhat confusing and all of our party were travelling seperarely but couldn’t find the property easily. It mentions a ‘blue’ door entrance but I’d say it’s been updated to a green/mint colour since these instructions. It made us doubt what house we were entering!
Comfort: overall the comfort of the beds was fantastic but the heat made it uncomfortable. We opened up windows at every opportunity but felt that sometimes wasn’t enough. We followed the instructions on the booklet in regards to temperature but couldn’t cool the house down! The fan in the living room saved us from melting.
Keys: We had 1 set for each door so ideally 2 sets would’ve made it easier for plans/ people to freely stay out longer/return sooner without any worries. No biggy but would just have made it easier for larger groups
Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The property is gorgeous with fabulous interior and a great place for a party of 6-8!

Perfect Stay
We cannot find fault with One Clementhorpe Maltings! It was brill! We had excellent communication from Stays York from the initial booking to the text confirming the accommodation was ready to check in. The home itself was fantastic, very well decorated and very clean. It felt like home from home! It's also has a quirky feeling with the old columns, back stairs and chambers near the front door. Location was excellent, especially for the Saturday bacon buttie run on Bishy Road!

Great site would use Stays York again
We had a lovely stay at Clementhorpe Maltings. The property was quiet, personable and in easy walking distance to the hub of York. We easily had enough space and loved the extra touches, such as the welcome box.
The one challenge we had with the property was the amount of stairs. Two of our party are active seniors, but even they would have been nice to have a better sense of how much up and down is required in this location.
We loved this stay and would highly recommend it to anyone considering travel in York.

Beautiful and great location

Quiet street, yet only 10 - 20 mins walk to all the centre attractions.
This is a querky conversion of an old maltings, set out on four floors, so lots of stairs. However all the rooms were spacious and clean and nicely decorated. We walked every where, but the local shops, cafes and pubs were good too and are only a minute away. The street was very quiet, not a sound of traffic! Just make sure you get the full, rather complicated entry instructions.some how ours went missing, but the office quickly sorted it.

Wonderful Clementhorpe Maltings York!
Fabulous apartment in central location. Only short walk to York city centre. Apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Staff at Stays York were easily contactable and helpful. A lot of stairs to go up and down to keep you fit! Loved our weekend here.

Lovely accommodation
We stayed for 5 days in this lovely high standard of accommodation it is just as the photos and was very clean ,we as a family loved sitting around the dining table in the evening .All the instructions we received were very good and managed to park our car nearby .
The only gripe I have is minimal toilet rolls. no hand wash/shower gel, only 2 dishwasher tablets I feel that to have to go out and buy these basic items is a pain and considering the high standards of the accommodation I think they should have been made available .
Also would have been a great treat to have a starter pack with basic groceries as supplied in some Airbnb .
Overall we loved our stay and York was amazing I can highly recommend.

5 minutes stroll from city centre
One clemonthorpe is a lovely modern property. Very spacious and the location to the city centre is excellent.
The house is very warm (with no heating) and the numerous flights of stairs keep you fit!
There were a couple of issues with the property but they were sorted quickly.
Be aware there is a £30 charge if you need any additional bed sheets etc so arrange what you need prior to arrival.
Recommended places to eat are the pig & pastry cafe round the corner (get there early!) and phranakhon thai tapas in town.

40th celebration with family
A stunning house we would love to go back to. Stayed in June (4 adults, 4 children). The house is over 4 levels so lots of stairs but not a problem for us. The decor was fresh and beautiful.
