Enjoy watching the sunrise at Marble Bay while soaking in the hot tub.All the necessities and more with 2300sq ft of living space & huge outdoor decks.Full service hook up for your RV & only a 12 min drive to town/pubs
    The space
    Tastefully fully furnished with ample sleeping space for up to 12 people comfortably (but can accomodate up to 14) this 3 floor 4 bedroom 3 full bathroom lakefront home is the perfect Vancouver Island getaway for work and/or play. 2300 square feet of indoor living space this peaceful paradise boasts 3 huge furnished decks with bbq, fire pit, and outside the lakefront facing master bedroom with king size bed is a 6 person hot tub to make everything right! Experience the magic of Marble Bay paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, fishing, or just listening to the lapping of the water from the shore as you sit back and enjoy one of the many furnished decks or the private dock. Take time to explore Cowichan Lake with its pristine waters and its over 110 km of shoreline. Only steps away from the property immerse yourself in the wilderness and tranquility of the numerous trails and the panoramic views that are waiting to be discovered at Bald Mountain Park. This home away from home is air conditioned with heat pump, has a fireplace, large screen tv, fitness equipment, WiFi, dedicated workspace, stocked open kitchen, washer and dryer, bar in entertainment room with board games, bbq, fire table and so much more.

    Other things to note
    We are pet friendly but request only one dog small to medium size and would ask that they only stay on there pet bed which we will supply. They are not allowed on furniture or sleeping on beds. We would also request that they are monitored when outside and walking them on leash in all common areas. Please ensure you clean up after your dog once they do there business. We have an area outside that is gated where your dog can be locked off and enjoy the deck and views of the lake. You can also bring your dog down to the beach for a swim but must be monitored also at all times.....

Honestly, one of the best rentals our group has ever done. Host has thought of absolutely everything for the house and is extremely responsive. The location right on the lake is stunning and we had the best stay just relaxing there. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This lake house is absolutely amazing! The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need and then some. The house was very clean, the deck is fantastic! This place is a must visit!

Beautiful lake house

A wonderful property on a beautiful lake. As a group of 9 friends we all enjoyed our time here and were sad to have to leave, and we really enjoyed kayaking, swimming, and hiking nearby. The host was responsive and kind and made sure we knew everything we needed to know to enjoy ourselves.

Highly recommend this home. We spent three nights and found it to be a wonderful experience. The accommodation appeared nicer than the photos. The home had anything we could need and general experience was clearly well thought out by the host.The lake was beautiful and shed came well stocked with floaties/paddle boards/kayaks. Ed was a wonderful to deal with. We definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

Lakeside Paradise

We visited Lake Cowichan in the off-season and were thoroughly impressed by the property, amenities, and the beautiful nature in the surrounding area. Edward was quick to reply, but the home was outfitted with everything we needed. The detailed description of the property and check-in process made for a smooth and easy stay. Everything and more...

We had an awesome stay. Location on lake is A++ and the place is exactly as advertised...maybe a bit more. Perfect for families and plenty of space if going with 2 families like we did. Owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. It's clear they are pros at this as the house was also easy to navigate given everything was laid out and labelled which is nice when trying to get settled. Will be coming back again at some point.

This house is fantastic. Everything you could need was there. We were a family of three generations and had a fantastic time. There was something for everyone. The house is clean and has a well-equipped kitchen. Each of our children took turns cooking the meals, and we ate wonderfully. The dock had no problem accommodating all, and the beach was perfect for the little ones. The breakwater made for easy swimming on the windy days. Communicating with the owners was easy, and the beds were all comfortable. There was even a toddler bed for the young ones.

Privacy and Beauty on Lake Cowichan waterfront

I grew up going to our family cottage on Georgian bay. To me, a cottage needs to have some breathing room from your neighbours and a sense of the wild about it. Rare on this lake, this cottage has both. We constantly had to slow down for Elks on the way there. The dock and beach are great. There are many water toys to play with. Cottage itself is very functional and comfortable

Lake living awesomeness

Edward’s property is as-advertised. The location is remote and beautiful, the home is spacious and updated, and the amenities and equipment are what one would expect in their own home. The space is perfect for couples who want space, families with kids, and groups of friends. I was there with my wife and two other couples for a long weekend and we loved it. If it were closer to my home, I’d rent it occasionally just to enjoy the solitude and natural beauty. There are no surprises or deficiencies in this rental.

Ladies Getaway!

We (8 good friends) stayed at this amazing lake house for the May Long weekend. We could not have asked for anything more. The location was beautiful, easy to access and fairly private. The home itself was very clean, plenty of sleeping options and very well stocked. It sits right on the lake with a nice dock and safe swimming area. They have paddle boards and kayaks for guests to use as well. The kitchen is very well stocked and has everything you will need. Communicating with the host was easy and they always responded immediately. I would not hesitate to book this property again for a ladies weekend or for my family. Becky

Truly amazing house and location!

We were looking for a spring break retreat where we could unplug from the city and relax in nature with our family and dog, and this property truly delivered! From the small welcome gifts from our gracious hosts, to the family games for fireside evenings, the house was truly magnificent and really felt like a home away from home. Once outside, the private deck and lake entrance was a spectacle in which photos cannot truly convey and was a source of morning relaxation with a book and coffee, an afternoon of fun with kayaks and paddle boards, and an evening sunset with a glass of wine before retiring to the hot tub and view of the lake! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Life vests for kids are available too along with beach towels. The local Country Grocer store in Lake Cowichan was excellent and had everything we needed. A truly wonderful experience and one we cannot wait to experience again soon.

Paradise on earth!!

This property has lived up to all as advertised and much much more!!! This is truly a peace of paradise! It is exactly what we needed to recharge . . Deep sleeps from no noise pollution and beautiful morning coffees on the private dock. My 2 teenage boys absolutely loved it and can’t stop talking about it; they didn’t want to leave :) The host Edward Cummings has been so accommodating and always in contact if you need him for any questions you may have during the stay. Between the lake, the dock, paddle boards, kayaks, hot tub etc etc you have truly everything here at your fingertips to make the stay memorable and the most enjoyable vacation we have had in a very long time. We are local Vancouver Island residents and would stay here over any other place, no need to fly away somewhere since all is here. Anyone that is looking for the most comfortable and beautiful location to relax and enjoy with family and friends . . Look no further as this checks all boxes!!!!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay on Lake Cowichan! The lakehouse was spotless, had all of the amenities needed, and there was plenty of space. The dock is spectacular and the location is on a quiet part of the lake. We celebrated my mom’s 80th birthday and she even got up on waterskis on her birthday! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend this special time with our extended family!
