À propos de cet hébergement

Bungalow Bedrock · Dôme étoilé, piscine, jacuzzi, vues

  • Summary:

At Bedrock Bungalow, the best seat in the house is actually up the hill. Set among the boulders on five private acres in Yucca Valley, this two-bedroom retreat pairs an in-ground pool and heated hot tub with a clear stargazing dome overlooking the mountains. Spend the day swimming and soaking, then climb the wooden steps to your own hillside hideaway as the desert sky fills with stars.

    The Space:

The desert feels close from nearly every room, thanks to oversized picture windows that frame rocky hillsides and the valley below. Inside, wood-slat ceilings, woven lighting, natural textures and warm, earthy furnishings create a relaxed, thoughtfully designed atmosphere. It's a home that encourages you to settle in, whether you're sharing a leisurely dinner, reading beside the window or enjoying a quiet afternoon with nowhere else to be.

    -Highlights-

► Private hillside stargazing dome with 360-degree mountain views

► In-ground swimming pool with loungers (pool is not heated)

► Hot tub, kept heated at no additional charge

► Outdoor fire pit and BBQ

► Five private acres surrounded by dramatic desert boulders

► Elevated setting with sweeping desert and mountain views

► Two king bedrooms and two bathrooms

► Fully equipped kitchen and indoor dining area

► Comfortable living room with smart TV

    ► Split-system heating and cooling

    ► High-speed Wi-Fi and dedicated workspace

    -Outdoor Amenities-

The landscape is the main attraction at Bedrock Bungalow, and the outdoor spaces make the most of it. The in-ground pool sits against a backdrop of rugged boulder formations, with loungers inviting you to spend an afternoon swimming, sunbathing or simply admiring the view. The surrounding hills create a dramatic natural setting that changes color throughout the day.

As evening approaches, take a dip in the hot tub, which stays heated year-round, or fire up the BBQ for dinner outside. Later, gather around the fire pit as the desert cools and the rocky hills fade into the night.

With five private acres around the house, there's a wonderful sense of space and quiet, making it just as appealing to spend a full day at home as it is to head out exploring.

    -Stargazing Dome-

Perched above the house, the transparent stargazing dome is what makes a stay here especially memorable. Follow the wooden steps up the hillside to find two cushioned loungers tucked inside a clear geodesic structure, with uninterrupted 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains.

Visit at sunset to watch the sky turn shades of pink and orange behind the boulders, or return after dark with a blanket and settle in beneath the stars. It's a beautiful place to share a glass of wine, enjoy a long conversation or simply sit together and take in the stillness of the desert.

    -Living Area-

The living room is bright, welcoming and designed around its remarkable views. A large picture window looks directly toward the boulder-covered hills, while a wood-slat ceiling, comfortable sofa, woven accent chairs and natural wood coffee table bring warmth and texture to the space.

Settle in with a book, enjoy a movie on the smart TV or gather for conversation after a day outside. The furnishings feel curated but comfortable, giving the room the easygoing character of a desert retreat rather than a formal living space.

Split-system heating and cooling keeps the interior comfortable throughout the seasons.

    -Kitchen and Dining-

Cooking here comes with a view. A wide kitchen window looks out toward the rocky hills, while wood cabinetry, dark countertops and woven pendant lighting give the space a warm, contemporary feel.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals at home, whether you're making a quick breakfast before heading out or spending an evening cooking together. A coffee maker, full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher make everyday meals easy.

Gather around the wooden dining table beneath oversized rattan pendants, or take advantage of the outdoor BBQ for a casual dinner under the desert sky.

    -Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

Two thoughtfully furnished king bedrooms offer comfortable retreats at the end of the day, making the home especially well suited to couples traveling together or a small group of friends.

The first bedroom features a king bed with an arched headboard, a desk by the window and a sliding glass door opening toward the surrounding boulders. Wake to the desert light, step outside for some fresh air or enjoy a quiet morning before joining the rest of your group.

The second bedroom has its own king bed, rich rust-toned bedding and pendant lighting that gives the room a warm, restful character.

Two bathrooms feature marble showers and clean, contemporary finishes, offering a refreshing place to unwind after hiking, swimming or exploring the desert.
