« Great atmosphere and excellent service. The minute you step into the Galle Fort Hotel you seem to step back to colonial splendorous times. Kind reception, lovely and spacious twin room (the library suite), the hotel is perfectly located inside the fort and gives a nice and relaxing feeling. Very nice restaurant and a la carte breakfast. « At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there. »

« Yara Galle Fort is a lovely boutique hotel in a good position for walking around the town. The bed was comfortable and it was lovely to have a fridge and toiletries provided. The Sri Lankan breakfast was the best we have had here and the staff were very helpful. »
