I booked a room to relax and get some good sleep in before starting a cross country drive, was not expecting a text message at 7am asking when I expect to be checking out, that and the way the owners/family park right in front of the entrance practically blocking the door was very off putting. »

« Room was clean and quiet with fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Loved that there was lake access a very short walk at end of the road. Would stay again. »

« Basic room. One overhead light. One lamp. Poor lighting overall. Basic bed on frame with no headboards. Basic amenities in room (shampoo, soap, toilet paper, and nothing else). Refrigerator in room. WiFi was very slow. »

« Nous sommes restés une nuit dans la chambre "penthouse" de l'auberge. L'accueil a été très sympathique alors que nous arrivions tard. Les équipements et la chambre sont confortables et très propres même si l'extérieur ne paye pas de mine. La plage est toute proche et les Sleeping Bear Dunes lakeshores également . C'est un bon spot pour rayonner au nord de la péninsule du lac Michigan ! »

« Clean rooms »

« The room was clean and the beds very nicely made. We estimated the bathroom, including shower, toilet & vanity to be about 4' x 8'. It was a very tight fit. There were no hook for hanging anything so we used the end of the curtain rods and what not. Our specific shower had a tile ledge/wall in it. The tile job leaned the wrong direction so the ledge filled with water from the leaking showerhead. Don't get me wrong, we would probably stay there again BUT I would bring command hooks or a drying...

« We were looking for a quiet retreat from a busy lifestyle and that is exactly what we found. I could not give 5 stars for interaction with staff because we didn't really "see" anyone but we did communicate by text and the person was very prompt and always helpful. Check-in was super easy. Cabin #5 was large enough to be comfortable, had everything we needed, the bathroom was nice. It was a lovely property to walk around outside and enjoy nature. »
