We had fun exploring the Kitty Hawk and Virginia Beach area. The screen porch provided great protection from the insects while allowing the sounds of the water to lull you into relaxation. »

« We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, and the host was very responsive to messages. It’s a beautiful location on the water with kayaks and a paddle board provided. Our dogs loved roaming the property and the neighbors are all very nice and welcoming. The highlight was watching the sunsets out on the dock. We would highly recommend! »

« Okay the property is very expensive for the price that I paid. So definitely no go and will not suggest this to anyone. Additionally, the host is very polite on the face of it, but is really unfair when it comes to the problem solving. Like literally, the bathroom knob was broken and the host is like IDC if someone come into the bathroom while you poop. »

« They didn't tell me they had somebody living on site until I was on my way there, between midnight and 2:30 a.m., because I told them I would be late, getting there.There was somebody else there when I got there in the room that I was supposed to be in, plus the person that lives on site.The key was where it was supposed to be, but the outside door was locked, and I rang the doorbell several times, and contacted the host, by calling and sending messages, and I still had to wait about 20 minutes...

« I have always wanted to go to the Outer Banks and see the wild horses. We take a couples getaway each year, and prefer to stay somewhere quiet and secluded. We love fishing and being active outdoors. This place was perfect for us. No need to go on the horse tours, we saw horses every time we left the house. On key thing, although the listing says 4x4 it was easy for us to overlook the fact that there was an unpaved road on the beach that was required to get to the home. Thank goodness we had 4x4. Couple other things, the rule book in the home mentioned outside access to water for rinsing sand from underneath vehicles, but the outside...
