« Room was not clean. It was so incredibly dusty. Just very half done housekeeping. The shower curtain also filthy. But honestly the location and views really took this hotel above and beyond. »

« Overall good. Most things have been updated. The windows need heavy CLR treatment or replacement to remove all the calcium and lime deposits that make them look foggy. The pool area needs some updates and touch ups. The hot tub was luke warm on one day, but perfect temperature the next day. Breakfast could use better fruit and bananas. « Before staying here, I was under the impression that Wyndham was a premium brand. After staying here, I sincerely doubt this. I have stayed in nicer Motel 6s. There were broken and hastily repaired walls in my room, missing fixtures, yellowing and out of date light fixtures and no electrical sockets within easy reach of the bed. The staff seemed friendly, however, there appeared to be somebody who was related to one of the staff members who spent his entire day sitting in the hotel lobby playing...

« We felt like we were in a dangerous place. We actually put the ironing board and a chair in front of the door. The room was very dirty the vents were really dirty. There was no Kleenex in the box. The bathtub was dirty. We actually checked out early. »

« The hosts were terrific! We were greeted upon arrival and they made sure we had everything we needed. They even took the extra step and had an advent calendar to ensure we continued our family Christmas tradition while on vacation. We did the meet and greet with all the animals and even had a bon fire and made s'mores. The winery next door is a 5 minute walk and has unbelievable views. « Overall, cabin was well decorated, clean, inviting, and the location in Big Canoe was perfect for having activities and food nearby. Only “issues” I would note is that there were no curtains on the front so it lacked a bit of the privacy I like and would let all the sun in during the day which can be good but would make it a bit hot at times.
