« Nice old pub building in the centre of the small town. Down stairs arras were very nice with a cosy and traditional atmosphere.
On checking in was advised kitchen was closed for 2 of the 3 nights. Breakfast (American pancakes) was very poor.
Room was ok but tired around the edges. Very few power points and signs of a long term leak from shower which is always off putting. A REALLY noisy AC/ chiller unit below the bedroom window was pretty annoying
Not a bad place, but at £145 a night i...

« Lovely old hotel with character ideally situated on the sea front,we had a superior room with small balcony to sit out on to enjoy the great views . Good size car park at very reasonable price. Excellent buffet breakfast. We had two 3 course evening meals, beautifully cooked, good service. Rooms a little dated, smallish bathroom but had everything needed. All the staff were cheery, friendly and helpful --we had a problem with the TV, the receptionist came up and sorted it straightaway. A very...

« This is a lovely old fashioned-feeling, quirky hotel with a great atmosphere. It is in a great location in the heart of Totnes.
Our room was spacious and comfortable.
We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and all our meals were tasty with decent portions.
The staff members, without exception, were cheerful, helpful and welcoming.
Parking is tight with there being only a small car park so other parking options may need to be considered before arrival. »
