« Paying $300.00 a night was too expensive for what the Hampton Inn offered. Checking in was so unprofessional and unwelcoming. We did not know that our room would only be cleaned every other day. After unpacking, we were uncomfortable at how unkept our room was. It smelled, and the floor had about an inch of dust on it. The friendliest employees were the cleaning staff, so maybe they are understaffed?? »

« We have river view from balcony and it is beautiful. Room is clean. And location is close proximity and super convenient to nearby restaurants, cafes, diners across the street, up and down the road. Our room is a little bit out dated but the river view makes up for it. We're enjoying ourselves and give this place a positive review. It's exactly the vibe and pace we needed 👍 »

« Treehouse is small but cozy. Great view of the river and easy access to it. Surrounding area is beautiful. Be aware that the treehouse itself is only the bedroom. The kitchen is outside and using the restroom requires going downstairs, across a lawn, and upstairs again. Overall it was a nice stay and very reasonable for the price. »

« My husband and I enjoyed staying at Rivermist. Great place for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The cabin is quaint and cozy. The outside is beautiful. We were there in February and the weather prevented us from getting in the river but we enjoyed the hot tub. Doug was welcoming and helpful with tips on how to maneuver the roads since they had had a melt from a recent snow. Check in and out went smooth. « We loved our stay! The cabin was just as advertised. Cozy and definite mountain vibes. Hiking is a quick drive away as is downtown Blue Ridge. We hiked all day. Went to town for dinner and then ended the day in the hot tub followed by a warm fire. Amy was super responsive. We look forward to going back. »
