„Overall, I think this was a great place to stay. My only complaints were that the stairs are very shallow and you had to walk sideways on them. Was tough for my elderly mother. Also some of the chairs were unstable and upstairs shower is extremely small and not suitable for large people. That being said, the house was very clean and very charming. It had everything we needed. The owner was very available. I would recommend. Best for 4 people. “

„My sister and I were the guests (both 60) and everything was clean and orderly when we arrived. There are two beds and a bath upstairs and a master bed and central bath with washer and dryer downstairs. Perfect for the two of us! The location is just down the street from The Point - which is a very popular location for sunsets, beach combing, swimming and picnics. „We had a wonderful stay while visiting family and friends in Dunkirk. The house was comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The hot tub was a huge hit for both the adults and children.The kids loved the yard, hammock, and hot tub. We enjoyed relaxing at the beach, collecting sea glass, and watching beautiful sunsets. The location was perfect for us to visit local family and explore Dunkirk’s waterfront, lighthouse area, and downtown. Thanks for a wonderful stay! “

„The Captains Quarters was our home base for our recent family trip to Lily Dale Assembly. The house provided plenty of room for our party if eight and our little dog too. Our adult kids enjoyed playing pool and chatting around the fire pit. We shared meals on the spacious deck and had our coffee on the huge front porch. The beds were comfortable and our host Lauren thought of everything, even the ingredients for s'mores. We would definitely stay again.“

„The house has a lot of character, is very unique, quirky and eccentric. It was a little too old fashioned/crammed for our taste, but our children loved it and thought it was magical! We knew what to expect from the photos – so not complaining ;) Check-in was easy. The biggest advantage of the house is the wonderful direct lakeside location, the view, the sunsets.
