„This would be a great space to have a romantic getaway with your other half. The space was exactly as described and bland is such a wonderful town. The only thing I wish was that they had at least one recliner. Also to the host please replace the window sill on the left side it would be shame to let the termites get into those old logs. Thanks for such a wonderful stay I never expected to find such a clean wonderful place to stay. Everything was perfect for a weekend getaway.“

„The cottage is as described, comfortable and big. The train is a bit noisy but earplugs do the trick - shower hot, excellent pressure, and extraordinary stars on a clear night. Absolutely would stay again. Thank you, Shaena! “

„Our family had a lovely time at Walker Creek. We enjoyed the spacious house, ate family dinners at the dining table, and played several games of pool in the game room. My husband and son fished every morning using the kayak, canoe, or just walking into the creek. The property is beautiful and peaceful. On our last morning there, my son was fishing, of course, and saw four otters swimming in the creek. They were so curious about what he was doing. It was a great family getaway!“

„The place is totally awesome. My family of 10 came in for a wedding from Alabama & Pennsylvania . It had well enough bedding and very large open kitchen with living room concept for all of us to be together. The house her been recently renovated and has beautiful colors and very large bathrooms . My grandkids were able to play in the creek that was in the backyard . We are coming back for another family wedding in October and will definitely try to get the house again.“

„We stayed at the home while getting our son settled in as a freshman at Virginia Tech and also spent some time enjoying the area. It's an older building in a rustic setting, but the home has been updated and we found it to be clean and comfortable. The nearby creek is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.“
