« The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The horses are an added bonus of peacefulness making this location unique. Hotels can be beautiful and noisy, this place was like a little slice of heaven. Stay there you won’t be disappointed. John was very good at keeping in touch and seeing if we needed anything. I will definitely stay there again if I am going that way. »

« We felt right at home here in between logging high mileage hiking days on the Appalachian Trail nearby. We were able to cook and do laundry, and rest well. Laura was a kind and responsive host. The house has plenty of room for a group to spread out. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the cows and birds! The sun porch was perfect in the afternoons after hiking. »

« Beautiful property with a 2nd floor deck overlooking a nice big yard and large creek running by. Very quiet. Plenty of inter tubes if you want to go for a float. Screened in porch as part of the deck. Nice Weber grill on the deck. The house was very clean. Washer and dryer available. Fully stocked kitchen. The owner responded very quickly to all my questions. »

« This is a cozy, comfortable, peaceful place to stay! We LOVED the front porch next to Sinking Creek! Spent a lot of time listening to the many birds (20 species we identified!) , the babbling creek, & frogs at night. Very bucolic! The property is well-maintained & very cute inside. Clean. « This house is very family friendly. The stairs are tucked in so that our 1yo basically forgot about them :-) The deck is great, and very sunny - you might need a little shade, but the view and creek are great. We enjoyed our stay, the hosts were very responsive, we hated to leave! »
