« What a great find. Cave Castle is a lovely hotel and the staff are amazing. I contacted the hotel a few days before with some requests regarding my wife as she has mobility issues. One was for the room to be on the ground floor or close to the lift and the other was for extra pillows as my wife has to sleep upright. « TrÚs bon accueil. Chambre claire et correctement chauffée. Ambiance "British" tout à fait respectée. Plateau thé /café bien garni et rechargé chaque jour. Ménage fait quotidiennement. Salle d'eaux agréable. Seul "bémol ": le pommeau de douche ne coule pas bien, un petit détartrage serait le bienvenu. Petit déjeuner trÚs bon, servi de 8h30 à 9 h. Bon séjour à Bridlington. Merci à nos hÎtes pour leur gentillesse et l'efficacité discrÚte de leur accueil. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. »

" On the first night, we had a fire alarm at 3 a.m. It took the night auditor 30 minutes to turn it off. No complimentary gesture or apology was offered. The hotel is outdated for a 4-star property. The bathroom silicone is moldy, the carpet is stained and needs a deep clean, and the room was very dusty. The reception staff were not helpful, the phone was not working in a room so hard to get the reception.. and when the shower temperature kept going from very hot to very cold. Coffee and tea were not refilled, which is disappointing for a 4-star hotel where better service and cleanliness are expected."
