« Loved the building along with the fitness suite. Staff very helpful. Good range of breakfasts. Walking distance to restaurants etc... Would happily stay there again. Who said its grim up north ! The people are lovely ! »

« What a great find. Cave Castle is a lovely hotel and the staff are amazing. I contacted the hotel a few days before with some requests regarding my wife as she has mobility issues. One was for the room to be on the ground floor or close to the lift and the other was for extra pillows as my wife has to sleep upright.
When we arrived the staff on reception pulled out our check0in notes and informed us that everything was set up as per our request.

« Le séjour à l'hÎtel Mercure à Hull a été agréable. Les mariages organisés dans l'hÎtel étaient forcément un peu bruyants. Nous avons été dérangés en pleine nuit par des personnes qui ont discuté devant notre porte. Sinon les chambres sont spacieuses. Il manque un mini frigo. Les chambres nécessiteraient un rafraßchissement. Le bémol pour la moquette pour les personnes allergiques. Mais nuit et cadre reposant. »

« Room was clean, bathroom clean, lovely fluffy white towels. Enough packing places in the car park. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, only found out on our second day of stay that I could have requested a tea pot. I also suggested instead of bowls with marmalade/jam, could small pots be provided to put the jam into. Two complaint, one resolved, we only had one bedside lamp on the first night, I let reception k ow and on the second day a second lamp was delivered. Main complaint was the the TV...

« The room was excellent. Comfortable beds. Quiet and warm as the weather outside was forecast snow.
Hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. Food in the restaurant was so good and the prices were very, very good. My son and I had a good sleep and a great breakfast the following morning. We would definitely stay here again. »
