« We loved the isolation and to be able to disconnect from our busy lives. It was very quiet and peaceful. You don’t notice your neighbors and everyone is very respectful of each other. The views of Mt. Adams were awesome. We explored the area and did some hikes. We cooked breakfast and dinner over the fire every day and enjoyed s’mores every night. « Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back. »

« Property was clean, well maintained and hosts were available without being at all intrusive. Wonderfully located on the river with a beautiful deck, this was a perfect peaceful getaway. There is nothing to do here except relax, enjoy the river/deck and rest, which is exactly why we were there. Strong internet connection was a plus. Access to the river was available and if you're into fishing/floating the river, this location is perfect for that. »

Hood and beyond that it’s perfectly designed and outfitted with modern amenities and everything you need for a comfortable, stress-free stay. Free parking under the building was a plus.
