« Booked for one week. Second day there was a rat in the house that came out of the linen closet in middle of the house. We had to go get traps. It was horrible. Owners did contact pest control the next day but by that time, the rat being there in the house I could not get over it. We wound up leaving two days early. Dock was nice but the hill to get to it is steep and hard to get too without falling. »

« A very nice place to stay. Clean and everything in order. The directory and map of Lincolnton was a nice touch. Very helpful. Only one very minor complaint: The blinds in the guest bedroom did not close completely. »

« My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming lake house. The home was large, and the hardwood floors were beautiful. The backyard was PERFECT for small kids (and our dogs) to play! Lots of room to explore safely! The walk to the lake is probably about .6 miles away with a few hills, so keep that in mind. But it is a beautiful walk. I am still wearing my badge of honor scrapped knee lol. Once you get to the lake, the view was absolutely breathtaking. It was so much fun to swim in...

« This property exceeded our expectations. The house was very clean and comfortable. The distance to the water for short and it was an easy walk, not very steep. There were so many little extra features of the home, yard and dock area. We felt like we were in our happy place all weekend. We even had an imaginary visitor, Sasquatch! Just kidding, it was a cutout, but we liked him! The little things added so much to our experience. There were cozy throw blankets. And pillows in the living...
