« The room was clean and served its purpose; however, the hotel itself is very outdated. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the customer service at the front desk.
The staff member who checked us in was rude and seemed unwilling to answer our questions. When we asked about extending our stay for one additional night, we were told she was too busy to assist us and that we needed to make another reservation online. We found this response unprofessional and unhelpful.

« I will never stay at the Motel 6 in Crawfordsville, IN again. The property needs to be torn down. The furniture is bare minimum. The pillows must have come from someone's yard sale. Horrible! Shower was not usable. The exhaust fan did not work. My wife said "Don't brush your teeth. The water tastes terrible." And, someone needs to repair the two large holes in the drywall. I learned my lesson. NEVER AGAIN. »

« Excellent overall. Walking distance to the college and Lew Wallace study. Lots of history on the property alone to explore. Street parking only. My only complaint is that the windows are single pane glass and allow in a fair amount of ambient nose. »

« An excellent choice for a getaway with family. The outdoor amenities were exceptional, from the fire pit to the pool and spas, seating areas, and relaxing in nature. The location was perfect for easy access to beautiful Shades State Park. The kitchen was small for 10 people but adequately stocked.
The gaucho grille was not appropriate for our needs: difficult to manage the heat and the grille surface does not work for burgers, etc. A conventional gas, propane, or charcoal grill would provide...
