„We were especially impressed with staff. The breakfast was good and we felt safe and we appreciated the cleanliness of your hotel. The whole place had a very "homey" touch that made us feel immediately comfortable when we arrived. Our room was right by an elevator but that made no difference! Also, we arrived on the 4th of July and were afraid guests may get a little noisy, but that was not the case. „This was a very nice place. The updated building was done nicely, keeping the rustic look of old, with a touch of new. Room was clean and spacious. The only thing I could complain about was the small a/c unit, that seemed to struggle on the hot day. The room wasn't hot, but definately could have been cooler to relax in, after a day in the heat. “

„Very clean quaint property. Our room was situated overlooking a busy 4-way stop which made it a bit loud for sleeping when the trucks with loud mufflers rolled through but rested well just the same. Recommend this property for those looking for a quaint historic stay within walking distance to the Mighty Mississippi! “

„The cabin was cute and nicely updated. The inside was very clean, well furnished, and stocked with all of the essentials. The outside had some useful amenities and a relaxing atmosphere but it wasn't as well kept as the inside. There were tons of spider webs, which wasn't unexpected, but the entire exterior could have used a good powerwash.The location/neighborhood seemed somewhat ok but it isn't the most diverse place and some may not feel welcome in that area.
