« The property is lovely and brand new, spotlessly clean. Great pressure in the shower. Best bed I have slept in for years, I did ask who made it as I want one. The hosts are very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend the Stables and will definitely stay there again. Thanks Greg »

« The door to the room was hard to open and I felt bad for nearby rooms when I got up in the middle of the night because it was loud too. I called to say I was going to be late there and they said that was fine. The room was massive but the windows were open so it was a bit cold. There were heaters provided but they wouldn't have made a difference because of the size of the room so i didn't bother using them. There was one bed with an electric blanket but I don't think it worked. Overall I felt...

« Honnêtement que ce soit l accueil ou la chambre ou le service (laverie) tout était parfait . Literie excellente, propreté irréprochable . Une très bonne adresse pour un stop . Le prix est plus que correct . Nous sommes allés dans un hôtel luxe beaucoup plus cher et le service était nettement plus déplorable et moins classe que ce motel . Allez dans ce motel et vous ne regretterez rien »

« Convenient, clean and simple. »

« The staff was so friendly and the room was so cozy and smelled amazing! I will definitely be planning a longer stay in the future to enjoy more of the lodge and river! »

« The house is homely - the toys for the kids and there were games for the rest of us! »

« Thanks so much for having us. It was so fabulous to find a dog-friendly place to stay on my trip to Wellington. The place is warm and comfortable, and the sauna was a lovely bonus! »

« It was a lovely stay. Absolutely beautiful spot to stop and relax. Leonie was lovely. Let us play with the dog Maggie and feed the sheep. The decor was stunning. We wish we were able to stay longer. »

« Very well set up, great communication before, easy to follow directions to the accommodation I would recommend »

« Modern and clean. Very nice. »

« This was an awesome place to stay and planning next trip »

« The cottage was very nice and easily accessible. Being next to the cafe meant that there were a lot of options available. Jack and Cheryl were some of the best hosts and we loved meeting and talking about their farm animals. Would love to stay again the next time we visit New Zealand! »

« Kia ora! We used this whare as a research retreat to do some writing and some deep thinking. The accommodations were lovely, clean, and tidy. An extra nice touch was a load of wood being dropped off at the whare if we needed it, and a 10% discount at the cafe, literally at the end of the driveway, was very convenient and a lovely touch of hospitality. Thank you, Emma, for looking after the crew. Highly recommend »

« Beautiful location - lovely farm stayHosts extremely accommodating offering to cook us home cooked meals, notPhased when we were extremely late arriving. »
