« For a lodge charging $500 per night for a standard king room, we expected a peaceful, relaxing experience in the Catskills. Unfortunately, our stay was the opposite. The biggest issue was the complete lack of soundproofing. Our bed was positioned directly against the wall behind the main entrance door, so every time someone entered the lodge, it sounded as if they were coming into our room. « Wonderful stay in a lovely little retro cabin that’s updated just enough to be comfortable while imagining you’ve gone back in time. Our host was proactive and very helpful. She made the stay that much better.We visited in late summer. The stargazing was spectacular! And we sat outside around the fire listening to apples fall from the trees watching the wildlife (safely, from a distance!). The surrounding area had lots to explore. »

« Hosts were very nice and communicative and they allowed an early check in because of a snow storm. However, the cabin was very dirty. The prior guest had been staying there for two months with a dog prior to our arrival and it was not adequately cleaned. There was dog hair covering the couch. The couch and pillows smelled like dog. « Nice place, the grounds are beautiful. We saw deer & turkeys in the morning. Our hostess Rose is charming and gave us a tour of the whole place. WiFi was good because cell service/5g is sketchy at best in the area. Overall great place to stay! »
