The front office is in a guest room temporarily and the main floor is in full renovation mode. Our room was well appointed and very clean. „The room was really clean however there was a lack of hot water for a shower at night and in the morning and bugs in the hot tub when we tried to use it at night other than that it was an excellent getaway nice warm fireplace nice shower and being downtown near restraints museums and the waterfront made everything within walking distance overall I would gladly go back again probably will in the near future“

„This a sadly neglected gorgeous old building. It felt like staying at someone's grandma's house. Dust, cobwebs, generally dirty, previous guest's food crumbs on the kitchen floor, dispensers in the shower completely empty, no milk and cream in the fridge as advertised. Passive aggressive garish signage about the "rules" all over the room and property. Way overpriced. Only redeeming quality is location. “

„Am ersten abend war der Service und das Essen im Hoteleigenen Restaurant sehr gut. Am nächsten Abend hatten wir Pech mit einem jungen Kellner, der den Damen auf der Terasse und im Restaurant lieber schöne Augen machte statt die Gäste zu bedienen, das übliche Brot mit Butter wurde erst nach mehrmaligem nachfragen fasr gleichzeitig mit den Hauptgang serviert.“

„We stayed here from Friday to Monday while attending a nearby competition. Everything was walking distance (restaurants, park, grocery store, pharmacy, theatre). The host made sure we had everything we needed, the kitchen was fully stocked with snacks, breakfast items, coffee/tea and water. There was even a deck on the back that we could sit on and blankets to use if we got cold. The bedroom was very clean and cozy. There was a mini fridge fully stocked with water juice yogurt milk, etc.“

„This was hands down the coolest place we have ever stayed! A converted primary school in to a bed and breakfast. The rooms are MASSIVE! The beds were heavenly. Every detail was thought through. The hosts were welcoming and so knowledgeable about the area’s history. Honestly wish we could have stayed longer. If you are in the area this is a must stay. So different from anything else. Can’t recommend enough! “

„Rented two rooms both bathroom needed to be cleaned. I requested that they get clean before we come back. Someone did go in a wipe them down but it was not great.“

„Great for place to sleep and workout great for us, but there isn’t anything walkable if you are hoping to go out. A plus was that there was EV charging at the school next door. “
