« Maybe I should start with my GF and I were cycling a DIY version of the Ha Giang loop. Our stay at Tớ Dày was our fifth evening and also my GF's birthday. It also turned out to be one of the hardest day's we'd faced (a 75km day that had us over 300km in total) and had pushed us to get there before nightfall.
I contacted the homestay in advance and asked if they could provide a suitable meal, a bottle of wine and maybe a cake to celebrate. Not really expecting a great deal considering how remote...
