« A particularly nice welcome. A very well appointed en suite facility. A good sized and comfortable bed - very thoughtful and good quality ancillary furniture in the room. Very good breakfast. « The photos looked luxurious - actual hotel in a boring modern building across a car park. Not their fault, storm caused lift failure, and I had to climb two flights of stairs. They did offer to help me from restaurant, thought OK, but had to open fire door with room key, not told. Restaurant and room service very slow and inefficient, although there seemed an exces of staff in restaurant, I chose the hotel at random, being near where I would be picked up for my onward journey to ~France. « The hotel did not meet expectations or the description online and we had a very disappointing stay. The private bathroom was outside the room across from the stairway with no key given, so anyone could use it even though it was to be private for you. If I knew the private bathroom was not ensuite, I would not have booked this hotel. The bathtub has a hand-held shower spray but water was either scalding hot or cold-difficult to mix to get warm water. Except for the four-poster bed, nothing else...

« It's pretty nice. My biggest complaint was that it was so warm we had to keep the windows open all the time, which meant we had to listen to traffic noise all the time, and there is a lot of traffic noise. Other notes: Window blinds were damaged and half-functional. Combination clothes washer/dryer does not dry effectively. Only one key is provided for an apartment that sleeps six. »
