„Check in was very easy. Nice location with an easy walk to the lake. We had a family of deer that visited us every afternoon. Loved going on the lake on the kayaks. We were able to see a few loons and a bald eagle. Very serene and beautiful place!“

„The property was amazing! The views where outstanding and we enjoyed evwry minute we where there. This was an ATV outing and Julie, the hostess, was amazing! She was so helpful with her extensive knowledge of the ATV trail systems in the area that it made our trime on the trails much easier! Whould highly recommend any ATV enthusiast to stay there. Place was just what we where looking for! We would definatly go back!“

„Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. “

„The house is beautiful and immaculate, just as described and pictured. I loved the spacious rooms with just enough decoration to make it feel like we were in Maine without feeling cluttered. The whole rental process was seamless. I had trouble with my payment processing and the host was very patient and helpful. „The cabin was centrally located and a great fit for what we needed. We were a group of five and that seemed like a perfect number for the space (although theoretically I think it can sleep ten). If you plan to cook for larger groups you should bring some of your own pots and pans, and paper plates and utensils (the kitchen does have some things, but not enough for cooking for more than 3-4 ppl). Overall a great stay! The fire pit and river views were lovely. “

"My room was very cozy and well equipped. The breakfast on Sunday was marvellous! Thank you to Elizabeth and Mike for four true days of vacation in their Freedom House! One point maybe worth mentioning: the bed was quite soft. But this is a matter of personal preferences."
