The place was perfect for our group. It lived up to the pictures and the listing and the host was very friendly and responsive. It's close to Hickory Run State Park where we enjoyed a couple of hikes and we had some great meals at two nearby restaurants- Farmhouse and Pocono Organics. The community is nice and well maintained. It snowed one evening and the roads were plowed before we even woke up the next day.

A great space to share with friends and family! We only had 2 nights but would love to book again. Loved everything about this place. Kevin responds immediately to any concerns. We love this house! The property looks exactly like the photos. Everything was clean, convenient, and comfortable. The hosts are quick to respond to any question from booking through checkout. It’s everything we were looking for in a vacation getaway, so many things to do within a short drive. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Amazing beautiful home! The open floor plan and natural beautiful light was stunning and unexpected. Kevin was amazing and so easy to communicate with! I don’t want to give to much away but the master bedroom and bathroom was an absolute dream! Clean and beautifully decorated! I was there off season just for a change in f scenery so I did not get to experience much outside the home but the place itself kept me entertained! Can’t wait to stay again with blooming trees and lake access.

Amazing stay!

I booked this place for a weekend with short notice, and the host was super welcoming. The check-in / check-out process was easier than anticipated, and the host was very fast in responsiveness to any questions/concerns we had. The house was cleaned soon before we checked in (we could smell the scent of cleaning products when we walked through the door). There are a lot of huge windows all over the house however, some which don’t have blinds or curtains like in the bathrooms, so take note of that if you are paranoid (lol). Overall, it was super nice and our stay was great. Thank you!

Had some issues

Getting into the front door the code wouldn’t work on the one door and when we saw the other door that one wasnt even locked so it was accessible to anyone who tried to access it. In the amenities it listed the washer and dryer so when we attempted to use it the washer would not work, it started the fill cycle and then would turn off leaving our clothes soaked and still dirty. And when trying to reach the host it took 15 missed phone calls and voicemails for them to respond. Unfortunately I will not be requesting to stay within his rental again.

Kevin’s property looked just like the listing! Very clean, well decorated and stocked. Clear signage all around the house so we knew how to use everything. We didn’t get to use any of the amenities but in summer I’m sure the lake would be a great option. Perfect for four adult women and could’ve fit 4 more people. Overall great stay and would stay again!

What a beautiful property and cozy and clean house! Some family members and myself took a long weekend to go to the Halloween attraction, Hotel of Horrors…which was also fantastic.. and we rented this home for our weekend. Family time in the Poconos

We loved our stay in the Poconos even though the weather was on the rainy side. Accomodations were awesome....clean, nice neighborhood, lots of deer to watch. Perfect for girls weekend getaway

We rented this property for a girls weekend getaway and there were 9 of us celebrating a bride to be. The upstairs is spacious and bright. We truly enjoyed the hot tub. The greenery wall is awesome for photo opportunities. The owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond about any questions we had. We had hired a private chef who unfortunately cancelled on us a half hour before arrival and Kevin was extremely helpful in offering local restaurant suggestions. He definitely was a great host. We would definitely rent again if ever in the area

Staying at this house was perfect! It was such a comfortable accommodation for my group and I, so much space for both relaxing and socializing. This home is in a great area and the host was kind enough to provide pamphlets of suggestions in the area. The home was so clean when we arrived and the host always responded quickly. House was great, aside from the hot tub being inaccessible for most of the stay.

Kevin's house is perfect for a group of friends to relax on a weekend, the layout is great and all beds and couches are extremely comfortable! We loved the house in general, however, we were disappointed to learn that the hot tub needed servicing and we could not use it. Kevin was very responsive; he answered our call immediately and a service crew was over within the hour. It seemed as if the hot tub would have been usable within just a few hours after we noticed the issue, however the service crew left in the middle of their servicing without telling us why or when they would come back. They did not come back for about 2 hours (after we reached back out to Kevin to ask what was going on) and because they were gone for so long, the hot water they used to fill the hot tub had cooled down, which meant it took over 4 hours to warm back up. This meant we lost the entire day of hot tub use, only able to get into at the end of the night. We were disappointed as this was the main reason, we booked the house. Kevin was extremely accommodating - he sent us a pizza for lunch and gave us a partial refund, however I wish the service crew and did not disappear in the middle of servicing. We are not even sure if they would have came back if we did not contact Kevin. That being said, we loved the house and would absolutely come back again, assuming the hot tub will be usable from the start!

Great but had some issues

The place was nice and the amenities were great! However when asked the owner told us the water was filtered which might be true but it had a very bad taste to it, probably from the pipes, we had to buy water from the grocery store which we were not planning on. We also found hairs in the beds on before they had even been slept in. Check out was fine except for the complicated instructions for the trash. Owner did not clarify what was considered recycling and what was considered trash to the community, and if we got it wrong it would be a $100 fee, which I feel is a bit much. For the future please clarify what you and the gated community consider to be trash or recycling!
