The house had everything we needed and the hosts were extremely responsive. It was also very affordable for the location. We had two requests and they acted within minutes! The location was convenient to shopping plazas and just a short drive to old town and the wedding venue. We had two families; 5 kids and 4 adults and there was plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. There is also a fire station down the street and the firemen were so nice and gave the kids a tour of the station, let them sit in the truck etc. that was a nice treat for the kids! Would definitely recommend!

The property was cute and absolutely could have been an amazing place to stay.. but the price is absolutely absurd! when I booked I thought I was booking for 2 days due to the cost. To my surprise I was only booked for one day and it was cheaper to stay at the Hilton in downtown DC. Would not recommend and won't go back.

We were very impressed with our stay. The house and ammenities were exactly as described. The host was in constant communication. All the beds, bathrooms, kitchen, etc., was all in good shape. It was perfect for our large family (6 children - all adult) and everyone was satisfied. We would definately stay there again.

Nurten's place was perfect for our family of all ages. Very spacious with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen and nice furnishings. I'd highly recommend Nurten's house for a stay in the DC area!

Nice, roomy older home with tons of sleeping space options. Good assortment of dishes, cookery, kitchen appliances. Also shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each bath in case you forgot yours! Would stay again when in the area.

Three families stayed here for Thanksgiving. The family we were visiting lives a very short commute. The house was big and the host brought in some extra items for our cooking needs which was so kind. The house is very well located to convenient shopping and within 15 minutes of Mount Vernon which is where we visited. Thank you!

The house is very spacious, and good for groups and families. The basement offers a nice separate living space that includes its own kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The location is convenient for exploring the area, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for an Uber. Communication with the owner is very good. Would recommend this property.

Terrific location, just around the corner from the high school and the house of our family with the graduate could’ve accommodated more People, we had five total… But life gets in the way and not everyone can make it. Will plan to stay here again for nephews graduation in 2026.

If you are a family with young children, I would do your research on this location before booking. Owners communicated well. Photos of the inside were accurate. The 3 stars is my personal overall feeling of safety regarding this location.

Nice house in a great location. It was a few miles to the Huntington Metro station. There was a parking garage at the station which was so convenient. We purchased weekly unlimited metro passes and went into DC daily.

The rental was great and met my needs for the weekend. My only complaint is the door key pad. It was pouring when we arrived and wanted to get inside as soon as possible. I was anticipating a traditional key code door lock. I did not see that the black circle around the key hole actually lit up to show numbers. I had never seen a key pad like that and thought I had the wrong address. I would just suggest to clearly state to future renters that aspect of the key pad lock. Otherwise, my stay was great!

We had a larger family event and booked this home. It was large enough for 6 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of beds and rooms for sleeping and the kids had a nice sized backyard and areas to play. Close to the metro station for taking the train into D.C. would recommend for anyone looking to visit the area with a larger group and we would book again for our next trip.
