« The directions to the cabin were easy to follow . The communication was minimal but accurate and timely.The location was very good, out of town and near the state parks. The cabin was very very clean! It was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The view off the back deck was very nice. A very relaxing experience overall. »

« Had a great time with family. Enjoyed the nicely set up fire pit & the very relaxing hot tub. They have most anything you may need in the kitchen and more. Kids loved Hazel the horse next door and the outdoor games was a nice touch. The poperty was mostly surrounded by trees making it feel like your own little peaceful retreat!! Melissa was great and answered any questions we had. This would be a top pick when coming back to this area. »

« I had a lovely stay at the Jay Bear Retreat's cozy cabin for my solo hiking trip to Hocking Hills. The cabin was immaculately cleaned, and it had everything I needed for meals, showers, and a comfortable sleep after a day of hiking. The location is good for getting to all the Hocking Hills highlights. Overall, a great place to stay that I would happily return to for my next Hocking Hills trip. »

Please take note: as far as cell service goes, calls and texts work fine but data does not until you get back to town, so plan accordingly. »

« We very much enjoyed our stay at Outback Cabin. Host was extremely responsive to a specific need we had upon arrival - huge SHOUT OUT to AJ for quickly bringing us with what we needed. We had easy visits to nearby sites: Ash Cave and Conkles Hollow. Strong advice to visitors to download offline maps as cellular signal very weak - but old-school Garmin GPS worked just fine. »
