« Everything as advertised and then some. What a great place and wonderful stay! Diana (the host) and Crystal (housekeeping) made me part of their little family complete with assorted pets and animals (resident dogs, chickens and iguanas). And, as well as, inviting me along gor social activities such as a local weekly trivia game night. I have been to many guesthouses and B&B’s all over the world and this was a first rate operation. « I liked the room, which advertised kitchenette; however there was no kitchenette. None of the amenities listed are in the room. In fact no food is allowed in the room-including coffee (no coffee maker) and you don’t want to see me before I get coffee! Also, your not allowed to flush toilet paper! The road is only wide enough for a golf cart and is bumpy and full of potholes, but you have to drive about 20 minutes to secret beach, which is the only decent beach. « The ad does not seem to mention that Casa Reina is a 3 story walk up. Also, there seems to be no mention that the rooftop pool is private to certain rooms. There are very few plugs to charge phones, watches, earbuds, and some are loose and dangerous. It is very quiet which was great for sleeping. Staff very helpful. »

"Très bel hôtel, très bien entretenu en pleine végétation au bord de mer. Endroit magique. En revanche, le service était minimaliste et la nourriture basique. Nous avons eu le sentiment (ce qui est rare pour ce niveau d’hotel) d’avoir été une machine à fric. Dommage !"
