« This property is even better than the listing. Gorgeously remodeled beach house with everything you need. We had a wonderful time watching the eagles and walking along the beach. We spend one day in Friday Harbor, an easy 30min drive and ferry ride away. Host is very kind and quick to respond. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful home. »

« This property blew my partner and I’s expectations away!! You think pictures do it justice…. Wait till you see it in person. Mountain Springs Cabin is where you’ll find pure tranquility. John and Mary have the place equipped with all your kitchen essentials, games, towels, FANS (this is a big one for me), and even coffee beans to make a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. It’s hard to find words to describe such a magical place. Wish we would have had more than two days here, that’s for sure!!!...

« Loved the deck on the water, the beds were fine and place charming with nice art. Cooking in the kitchen was a little challenging with a mish-mash of cookware (as if left over from rummage sale) but we did enjoy cooking our own shellfish and eating in the nice setting. Be cautious of the jetted tub without grab bars and a strange floor, not safe for the non-agile. Would stay again »

« Overall a great house for our family. Though dated and past due for many repairs, this house has character, great views, and was very comfortable for our family of four. Located within an easy walk of the ferry, it was a great launching point for exploring Orcas. The kitchen was well fitted with utensils and cooking accouterments, though lacked oil, seasonings, and coffee. « Really beautiful! Really loved the location. The pond, water falls and koi fish were so relaxing to look at every morning. Hoping to stay here again in spring or summer. The host is really sweet and accommodating. »

« What a beautiful, thoughtfully constructed cabin! It had all the amenities you could want. Lots of great information about the area. We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. « This tiny home is extremely well appointed. The windows let in plenty of light and makes this place so cozy. The kitchen may be small, but it had everything we needed to cook....plenty of pots, pans, utensils, small appliances, etc. The furnace in this little place keeps the place very toasty and comfortable. « Our stay was amazingly peaceful and for our family to join at a mutual location it was ideal - beautiful walks on the beach and the overall charm of the place made for a perfect Christmas--very spacious, beds perfect and the home had all the cooking utensils, gadgets, platters etc to accommodate our meals. Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will for sure return for another visit! »
