Property was a short rideshare from everything, walkable to a cute coffee stand. Great light blocking shades in bedrooms, the shares did not quite cover the entire living room windows. Would stay again!
Location was good and beds comfortable. Listing shows washer/dryer, but found out day of arrival they are not in unit, but located in building and coin operated. Never bothered to look for them, didnât have time to sit and wait since there were several units in this building and several in the building next door that I assumed use them. If you plan on having coffee or cooking, bring everything as there was a small coffee pot and some salt, nothing else. Iâve stayed in VRBO all over the USA and always had coffee along with sugar and other condiments provided. If youâre looking for a bed and bath only, this might be for you.
In a quiet neighborhood in mid-town Anchorage. Property owner instructions indicated a 4pm check-in, rather than the advertised 3pm, so we had to wait around a little bit; tried to clarify with property owner, but received no response. Older unit with some updated furniture. Unit was decently clean, there was crumbs on the counter and some dark hair in the shower. Daughter was too uncomfortable after surgery to stay the additional night, so I ran back and threw everything in our bags and left. Received check out instructions the next day requesting the unit to be stripped and garbage taken, but I had already left. It was a decent little place, and will stay again if the situation warrants
Enjoyed this unit even though TV remote didn't work. We reserved a different unit at same location, but prior renters left late and left a mess for cleaners. Owner kindly put us in another spot next door which worked great. I appreciate her efforts.
This was stop number 1 on our trip through Alaska. We had a rental car for the first leg of the trip. This made getting around Anchorage.
Bonus is the grocery store is less than 5 minutes away by car. (Fred Myer)
