« My best friend, my sons, and my nephew gathered at Riverside Country Retreat for the weekend. The house was perfect: great bbq grill, fire pit and three cozy bedrooms! « Beach was amazing. House has everything you need and in a prime location if you want distance from the hustle and bustle of Galveston. We found the daily 40 minute drive to Galveston manageable - even with our kids. Bonus - we were there for new year’s and there were so many sea shells to pick just a few steps away from the house. Jaclyn, hostess, was also very responsive. We would book again! »

« The upstairs has the king bed in one room, and the twin bunk, as well as the queen/twin bunk in the second room. The shower has an overhead head, as well as a regular shower head. The kitchen was AMAZING! Fully stocked with cookware, glasses, plates, and silverware. We loved the deck and spent time sunbathing on the deck and BBQing on the grill. « there was only one game in the game room and only parts of it worked. there was no ball for the fosse ball table. little or no response from management. only two bedrooms upstairs and the game room downstairs was sleeping area not a bedroom. »

« This place screams beach. Great location. Very well stocked for all needs. Clean and comfortable .Host constantly stayed in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. Survived 2 interesting thunderstorms but it was perfect once they passed. Would definitely come back to this place. 5 Stars!! »
