« This almost didn't happen because there was a storm that took the power out. But, fortunately, the power was on and we were able to have 2 nights there. It has so much character. It was clean and located close to the New River Gorge for us to commute back and forth. Tiffany was wonderful to communicate with us and she and Kevin gave a quick history lesson of the place. »

« This stay was for our 10th anniversary. The cabin was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and the privacy. We had an issue where VRBO didn’t send us the the cabin number and correct code. We ended up arriving at 2am due an emergency delay in our trip. We contacted VRBO and they contacted our host. We felt bad for waking him at 2am, but he was able to give us the information we needed. We stayed 3 nights. We hope to come back this summer to explore some of the activities that haven’t opened yet for...

« The cabin is close enough to enjoy New River Gorge National Park and away enough to be left alone to enjoy the river and Mountains. »

« Very very nice- appreciate hot tub ready for every day- toilet paper and paper towel soap etc already available was real nice- consider a box of Kleenex would be a nice touch but that is not a complaint- directions on the fireplace would be nice unless it’s not meant to be used- thanks for being a very nice part of our beautiful trip »

« Very charming property. Everyone was super friendly ended up meeting just about the entire street trying to turn around with our boat. The road in is a very tight one lane road with not alot of space to back into the driveway. A neighbor ended up making space for me to turn around and i was easily able to back in. Longbed truck with 20ft bassboat did not help situation. Property was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly, planning on coming back for the white water festival in October. Thanks...

« The cabin is exactly as described. The grounds keeper went out of his way to grab trash we hadn’t taken over yet while we were out. A lot of reviews mentioned the road being bad, but it’s just a typical narrow dirt road. I can see it maybe being a little intimidating if you never drive on unpaved roads, but it is very well maintained, just go slow and be mindful while passing people and you won’t have an issue. »

« What a beautiful place! Waking up to the sounds of Paint Creek was just what we needed. Our cabin was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Ron w/Paint Creek vacation homes was so welcoming, and he was 100% available for anything we needed. We will definitely be staying there every time we come back! »
