« The cottage was delightful! It isn’t a shared space, so the whole place was ours - so nice! I highly recommend this quaint town. It has cute shops and wonderful pubs in easy walking distance. The host was super helpful with anything we needed and the cottage is spotless. The parking was tight, but there are lots nearby if you aren’t comfortable with the curb parking.For future travelers from the arid American West, Europeans don’t use a top sheet and regulate their inner temperatures different...

We had a lovely relaxing week in November in this impeccably renovated and decorated 200 year old cottage which has original features blended with all the modern comforts you could need including underfloor heating and a cosy stove for evenings around the fire. « My boyfriend booked this stay for my surprise birthday getaway and it was beautiful. We loved the cultural and historical significance of the cottage and the decor was stunning. We loved the hot tub out the back, it was private and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and the parking was so handy. We ordered an Indian Takeout and it didn't take long to arrive at all. We hadn't even finished our stay and were already talking about coming back. Its such a perfect getaway to be in nature. »

"We stayed in a small apartment which was really cute and cosy, but some areas were a bit dirty (stains on the walls and on the counter, a bobby pin on the bathroom floor). We also had an issue with the bartender : we asked for a Hugo Spritz and he got it totally wrong, we ended up with a short-drink glass filled with something that had no taste but was definitely not what we asked... The bartender seemed quite lost actually. Other than that everything was great! The staff was really welcoming and breakfast was delicious :)"
