« Had a lovely stay. Views were stunning. Cottage is pretty basic but clean and has everything you need. The walk into Ambleside is only a few minutes which is perfect for grabbing groceries or going out for a meal. The host, Linda was great and answered any questions quickly. We would return. »

« We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. « Just returned from a week at Richmond House, where everything has been renovated to a high specification, which makes it a great holiday home. The kitchen is well equipped with quality brands. « Property- fantastic. Many walks to forests/gardens/fells right from the property- Ferry to towns a 10 min walk. Grounds were charming- the kitchen is incredibly well kitted out for those who like to cook- very comfortable beds and the communication was great with the owners. »

« Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Effectivement le paysage est idyllique. La location est très confortable, agréable et bien équipée (lave vaisselle, lave linge, micro-onde, 2 salles de bain...). Un peu plus de vaisselle (assiettes, couverts, saladier) aurait été parfait étant donné qu'il y a un lave vaisselle :) Nous recommandons cette location. »

« Perfect property for our annual family, friends and dog walking weekend. Everything we needed within the property and locally and plenty of space for us all. »

« We enjoyed our stay at Kotel. Good location, good wifi connection. However we would have liked to have had an electric hob as with only a microwave cooking was rather limited. Also not easy to wash up as no plug in the sink. Fortunately there was an ice bucket I could use to wash up!!!. Crockery was also limited to 2 sets only. Had to check with staff on site re disposal of our rubbish as bins not very big. It would also be good that the Kotel staff supply a brush and dustpan for sweeping up the...
