« We stayed here over Fourth of July weekend and we all had so much fun! Watching the fireworks over the lake was absolutely magical. The house is cozy, cute, and comfortable. The covered porch cannot be beat and the dock made swimming a blast! We roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace and cooked most of our meals in the indoor kitchen, which had everything we needed. Try McClard’s BBQ and DeLuca’s Pizza while you’re in town! »

« We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Knotty Cabin. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and fresh everything was, and the charming decor gave the space a cozy feel. The detailed directions to the designated parking area were spot-on and made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the couches were just as relaxing. We’re already looking forward to coming back! »

« Property was clean, even better than the photos, dock was wonderful to swim off of and they had a ton of stuff for the kids to use down there. The house was big enough for our family and small enough that we weren’t all just in different areas all the time. Great property and great hosts! »

« Love the layout of the cottage. Not too small and not too large, wonderful kitchen, Weber Grill on back patio was great for grilling shrimp with a view of the water. Clean, comfortable and easy to relax. Definitely recommend and we will return to it again. »

« We arrived in the middle of a severe thunderstorm. The rain continued the days we were there. The cabin access road washed out. I contacted Theresa and within a half an hour she had opened her private gate for us to gain access to the highway. Wonderful communication, wonderful environment, super cozy and clean The vibe is one of being alone in the middle of a beautiful hardwood forest. The water feature is natural. The hot tub is perfect. I can’t say enough about how much I love this place. »

« We loved every minute of our time at Whispering Pines and in Mt. Ida. We were able to disconnect and enjoyed much needed family time. We loved the hammocks, fire pit, creek and the hiking near the cabin. We didn’t do everything g we wanted and everyone was ok with that! The cabin was so cute and clean and the kids loved having for life upstairs to sleep in. »

« My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights. It was clean and quiet. Checking in and out was so easy. Definitely worth the price. It’s a small cabin with a bed, small fridge and a microwave so it has electricity. It also has water outside and a fire ring. There I also showers and bathrooms located on the property. It’s less than a 1/4 mile from crater of diamonds state park. Will definitely stay again! »

« We stayed for two night for our anniversary. It was perfect! The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. My favorite part was sitting on the back porch swing while listening/watching the water from the Little Missouri River. It was so peaceful. »

« ScrappyJax was just perfect for a weekend of floating the Caddo River. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating! We are looking forward to our next visit. »

« Don’t stay here unless you’re ready to have a truly amazing time. this home was amazing in everything they have prepared for our stay even little extras, like condiments and seasonings laundry soap and luscious towels and fans for extra air. It was a fabulous place. »

« Super clean. Perfect for two couples with separate king bedrooms and private baths. Barbeque pit was a bonus that was well used. Kitchen is well equipped. Corn hole boards on the back porch was fun as well as the diamond digging equipment to borrow was a plus.Overall we did not need a thing that wasn’t available. »
